We Don’t Clean Desks. But We Help FTO Sergeants Clear the Clutter.

Are you buried in paperwork? Let’s talk FTO Program Management for 2027

We may not be able to clear off your desk, but we can help you take a closer look at what’s on it—and how you manage your FTO system. The first thing to do is to stop fighting the paperwork and start managing the program. Learn how our one-day Managing Your FTO Program course helps officers and supervisors strengthen their understanding of evaluations, DORs, FTO selection, and program oversight.

Managing a Field Training Officer (FTO) program comes with plenty of responsibilities. From reviewing Daily Observation Reports (DORs) and ensuring consistent evaluations, to selecting FTOs and documenting remedial training, effective program management requires attention to detail and a solid understanding of the process.

“Managing Your FTO Program” is a course we designed to help you meet those responsibilities with greater knowledge and confidence. This one-day, eight-hour course is designed for officers and supervisors assigned to oversee their agency’s field training program, with an emphasis on the San Jose Model (SJM).
