This FTO Refresher Class was hosted by the Island County Sheriff’s Office and had 19 attendees from all over the area. Officers from Arlington, Moses Lake, Burlington, Battleground, and Langley Police Departments; and Deputies from Okanogan, Benton, and Island Counties made up the class.
The block of instruction which received high praises, not surprisingly, was the SEG review and application of those guidelines as they watched the performance of a student officer.
“Getting back into the SEGs, understanding how they are to be applied, was a great refresher,” one student said.
We have one other Refresher Class scheduled this year which will be in Yakima August 29th & 30th. If interested, please register soon as this class is filling quickly.
